Introduction
The Office of Faculty Development exists to provide Biblically grounded support and training to Oakwood University faculty. Our purpose is to encourage professional growth and development. Faculty Development activities for the spring 2022 semester include Luch and Learn workshops, certifications in the areas of Critical Thinking, Online Learning, Advising, and Career Connections. In addition, available for faculty are resources including the Faculty Resource Center, Oakwood University Learning Management System tutorials (D2L), and the Faculty Media lab ( located in the Mckee Business Building). We will be instituting “Faculty Friday” which will feature one superb faculty member each week. As we explore ways to sustain effective Teaching and Learing in this new normal, the Office of Faculty Development would like to partner with you to achieve your professional goals. I look forward to continuing the “new normal” journey with you. We are excited about the endless possibilities.
