Oakwood University has released its official holiday closure dates for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year’s breaks. The University encourages students, faculty, staff, and community partners to review the schedule and plan accordingly.
Thanksgiving Holiday Closure
Oakwood University will be closed from Wednesday, November 26, through Friday, November 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.
Regular operations will resume on Monday, December 1.
Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Closure
The University will close for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday beginning Wednesday, December 17, through Thursday, January 1.
Regular operations will resume on Friday, January 2.
Please note:
Because students return to campus on Sunday, January 4, no Personal Leave or vacation will be granted to employees on Friday, January 2 to ensure full operational readiness.
